01 The book stock
Purchases add to it. Shifts take away.
- Go to Station setup → Opening stock.
- Choose the outlet. Book stock shows one figure per fuel.This is the book, not a dipped tank. Tank dips are compared with it under Tanks, dips and the morning dip.
02 An adjustment
Plus or minus, in litres.
- Under Record a movement, choose the Product.
- Set Type to Adjustment (±).Opening balance is for the day you start. After that, a correction is an adjustment.
- Type the Quantity (litres).A minus sign takes stock away: -120 reduces it by 120 litres.
- Write the reason in Note and choose Record.The note is kept with your name and the time.
03 What it leaves behind
A new figure, and a line that explains it.
- The book stock moves by exactly the litres you typed.
- Stock and margin reports use the new figure from now on.
